How to share file or drive on network

To share a drive or folder on the network
1. Open Windows Explorer, and then locate the drive
or folder you want to share.
2. Right-click the drive or folder, and then click
Sharing and Security.
• If you are sharing a drive, on the Sharing tab,
click If you understand the risk but still want to
share the root of the drive, click here.
• If you are sharing a folder, go to the next step.
3. Do one of the following:
• If the Share this folder on the network check box
is available, select the check box.
• If the Share this folder on the network check box
is unavailable, this computer is not on a network.
If you would like to set up a home or small office
network, click the Network Setup Wizard link and
follow the instructions to turn on file sharing.
Once file sharing is enabled, begin this procedure
again.
Note
• To open Windows Explorer, click Start, point to All
Programs , point to Accessories, and then click
Windows Explorer .
• To change the name of your folder on the
network, type a new name for your folder in the
Share name text box. This will not change the
name of the folder on your computer.
• To allow other users to change the files in your
shared folder, select the Allow other users to
change my files check box.
• If you are logged on as a Guest, you cannot
create a shared folder.
• The Sharing option is not available for the
Documents and Settings, Program Files, and
WINDOWS system folders. In addition, you cannot
share folders in other user's profiles

How to Hide or Unhide Hard Disk Partition in Windows 7/Vista/xp

Hiding a partition or volume from my
computer or explorer is preventing that partition
from displaying, but it doesn't mean erasing any
data or deleting the volume. Windows OS Disk
management system allows hiding drives except
the System drive where the OS is installed and
the System reserved volume. So, anyone who
has administrative privilege or the administrator
of the Windows machine can do this task. And
the basic trick is, without any drive letter (Ex: C:,
D:, E: etc.) Windows OS doesn't recognize any
drive or partition and here we are going to
remove that letter temporally.
To do this task you need administrator privilege.
So, why don't you activate the administrator
account and use it.
How to hide a drive:
1. Click right mouse on the computer and
select Manage. Select the disk management
under storage from the left pane. Or, you can
also get the Disk management typing
diskmgmt.msc in the run and pressing enter.
2. From there click right-mouse on which
drive you want to hide and select Change Drive
Letters and Paths.
3. Now select remove. Don’t worry! This
action just removes the drive letter.
4. Pressing on the Remove a warning
message will be shown and accept it by clicking
on yes. It’s just telling you that all programs
installed on that drive won’t work or this drive is
opened by another program.
It’s done! Your selected drive is hidden now.
The hidden drive won’t be appearing to the
administrator of the OS unless it is unbidden.
How to unhide the drive:
1. Open the Disk Management as shown
above.
2. Right mouse click on the drive which is
hidden/removed. Tips : the hidden drive doesn’t
contain any drive letter.
3. Choose the Change Drive Letters and Paths
and select Add to add drive letter or path to the
hidden drive.
4. At last choose a drive letter to assign the
drive/partition and press on OK. Wow! The
hidden partition is displayed in an explorer or my
computer.
That's it! No data is lost or damage. Even the
installed files are working again without any
errors. From now you shouldn't need any extra
software to hide or unhide your PC's drives. And

How to Build a Personal Desktop Computer

This instruction will teach you how to make a
personal desktop computer. There are some
steps to follow you. After finishing assembling
all components, you will obtain the computer
for yourself and you can design a system more
targeted toward your own use.

FOLLOW THE STEPS:
Prepare the Mainboard (motherboard)
which is the NVIDA model . If you
want to assemble the well-liked
device, you should use Intel G31,
GMA3100, or AMD 780 Mainboard.

Mount the CPU in the socket of the
Mainboard. You must choose the
correct CPU for your motherboard,
and install it according to it's
instructions. Be careful not to install
the CPU in wrong. Not only would
your computer not work, it could
short-circuit and damage your
motherboard.

Connect the CPU cooler to the
Mainboard.
Attach the RAM(memory) modules in
the corresponding slots .

the
motherboard should have rows of
slots that have 2 or 3 sections that
are different lengths. Make sure the
pins on the RAM cards line up with
the pins on the motherboard
connector. Don't get the RAM slots
mixed up with PCI slots.

The PCI
slots are usually wider.
Open the case and mount the power
supply which is M-ATX type .

Make
sure to connect all the connections to
the drives and the motherboard.
Attach the Mainboard back plate to
the case and check the Mainboard
mounting positions.

The
motherboard's instructions should tell
the position of the motherboard.
Suitably position the Mainboard in
the case .

Mount the Hard disk and connect it to
the power supply and the
motherboard . There should be
separate connections for the power
supply and the motherboard.

In SATA
Hard disk case, should remove the
jumper.
Connect the SATA connectors to the
drives and the USB connectors and
the case switches to the motherboard .

The case and motherboard's
instructions should tell where to
connect the cables
Connect the 20 or 24 pin ATX
connector and the 4-pin power supply
control connector to the motherboard .

Mount the DVD-ROM drive . After
connecting the ATA cable to the
device, hook it up to the power
supply.
Finally, select a compatible operating
system, and follow the instructions to
